The Purple Bag Challenge is a community-driven effort to provide survivors of domestic violence with the essentials they need when entering shelter. Too often, victims arrive with little to nothing but the clothes they are wearing. A Purple Bag filled with hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, and a toothbrush ensures that every survivor has immediate access to care, dignity, and comfort during one of the most difficult times of their life.
