AMY MCCULLAR MOCK
Amy McCullar Mock was born in Waycross, Georgia to parents Bill and Wanda McCullar. She is the youngest of 3 children...her oldest brother is Lloyd (talented and nice) and the “middle child” brother Stephen (the jury’s still out on that one). Amy is a graduate of Ware County High School and South Georgia College. She has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years and is currently employed with Hospice Satilla. Amy has a little boy named Will who is 5 years old. Being his mom is the highlight of her life. She and Will enjoy playing games, watching movies, going to the beach, and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs. Amy and Will attend Hosanna Church in Waycross where Amy’s dad is Pastor. Amy is very excited to be dancing tonight with her very comical and well-loved brother Stephen. They represent sibling rivalry at its finest while also representing a strong faith in God. Amy is passionate about supporting these two very worthy causes and hopes this year’s fundraising event is the most successful one yet. Most importantly, she hopes to see domestic violence come to an end and terminally ill patients receive the compassionate medical care they desperately need.
Stephen McCullar is a lifelong resident of the great state of GEORGIA! He was born the “middle child” of his 2 siblings...Lloyd (the first born and most talented)...and Amy (the last because Mama and Daddy knew they didn’t want any more after her). He was born in Brunswick and raised in Waycross. After graduating from Ware County HS, he made his way to Emmanuel College in north east GA, where he graduated with a BS degree in Communication Studies. While at Emmanuel, Stephen met and married his wife of 16 years, Katrina Huff McCullar. In 2007, Stephen brought Katrina down to Waycross to experience life in the Swamps of South GA! They have a 10 year old son, Kenton. Together they attend Zion Hill FWB Church in Millwood. Stephen has been working for Miles-Odum Funeral Home for 12 years. He doesn’t get many opportunities to show off his dance moves at work so he’s looking forward to demonstrating some swagger tonight! Stephen is thankful for the opportunity to dance with his sister, Amy, in DWTSS 2019! Amy is also a wonderful nurse with Hospice Satilla, and he is grateful for organizations like the Magnolia House and Hospice Satilla!
