Ambi works for the Southeast Health District as the Health Promotion Coordinator and focuses on chronic disease prevention. She received her Associate in Science degree in Human Services, specializing in Addictions, her Bachelor of Social Work and her Master of Science degree in Human Services, specializing in School Counseling. She is currently perusing her Doctorate in Public Health, specializing in Leadership and Advocacy.
Ambi volunteers as a CASA for children in foster care for Ware County. Ambi sits on several boards in support of her community and is currently the Board Chair for both Pierce County Family Connection and Head Start.
She has collaborated with several partnerships in educating youth within the school system and community. Conducting Teen Maze in the schools is her passion. Teen Maze is an opportunity to navigate teens as they encounter real life choices and consequences that often interfere with them reaching their graduation. The goal is for students to graduate and be equipped to make good choices in order to get there.
She was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. She currently resides in Waycross with her husband Ranaldo and their children Amiyah and Rylan.
Harold is originally from Ocilla, GA, but has resided in Waycross, GA since 2002. He currently works with the Ware County Board of Education where he is the Principal at Ware County Learning Center. Harold attended Valdosta State University where he received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration in 1994. He later received his master’s degree in education and his Education Specialist degree from Cambridge University. Harold has been married to La’Rona McClain for 24 years and they have three daughters, Ariana, Domineek, and D’Yonne. He also has two wonderful grandchildren, Ashlynn and Bentli. In his spare time, Harold enjoys spending time at the YMCA and traveling with his family.
