Allie Dixon grew up in Brunswick, GA but now lives in the big city of Hoboken with her two beautiful children, Jonah and Janie, and husband & biggest supporter, Justin. Allie is the Executive Director of the Okefenokee Alliance for the Homeless (OATH), a local non-profit serving families in our community who are or are in danger of becoming homeless. She serves on the Board of Directors for The Hanger, Pierce County Family Connections, and The Ware Children's Initiative. She is a member of the South Georgia Leadership Network and is a 2021 graduate of Leadership Waycross. Allie’s background is in non-profit marketing, and she is passionate about bringing awareness to the many amazing non-profits in our community. In her very limited spare time, you can find her hunting for treasure at a thrift store or on an adventure with her family.
Patrick Simmons is the executive director of the Waycross Convention and Visitors Bureau (Tourism) for the City of Waycross. He works daily to assist our local attractions and events to promote their events and organizations to increase tourism in the Waycross and Ware County. Before starting with the City of Waycross in 2020, Patrick was the manager of the Waycross Career Center with Department of Labor for 10+ years. He is chairman of the board for OATH (Okefenokee Alliance for the Homeless), and Ware Children’s Initiative, and former chairman of the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce. Patrick has an MBA from Georgia Southern University and graduate certificate in Entrepreneurship from Keller Graduate School of Management. He is also a certified personal trainer at Sweat Fitness and he enjoys spending time with his family and maintaining his physical health and strength.
