Sarah was raised in Blackshear and was a graduate from Pierce County High School in 2000. Sarah resides in Wayne County and is the wife of David Yawn. Sarah is a mother to son, Landon Yawn (6). She is a licensed massage therapist. Her current life keeps her on the go as a stay at home mom to their special needs son. Landon was diagnosed with Autism in 2017 and caring for him is a very rewarding, full-time job. Sarah is passionate about advocating and educating our community about being inclusive with all persons who have special abilities. We started Landon in baseball last year with Miracle League. Our family could not be more grateful to be part of an amazing, wonderful organization like Miracle League and that is the reason I am dancing this year. Let’s give a hand to Autism!
Eric was born and raised in Patterson, Georgia. I graduated from Pierce County High School in 1991. I am married to Marla Harris Herrin who was born and raised in Ware County. We have 5 adult children and 5 grandchildren, with grandchild number 6 on the way. I have worked in the medical field all of my life, working on the ambulance, on the helicopter and in the hospital. I am currently manager of the Emergency Department at Memorial Satilla Health. I have dealt with domestic violence victims throughout my career and all of my kids have been involved with sports at various stages of their lives so when it came to raising money from the Magnolia House and Miracle League Okefenokee I am excited to help, even if it that means embarrassing myself. We, as dancers, have set goals but we are looking to exceed these goals and raise as much money as possible for these great organizations.
