Stacey is super excited about dancing in the 2020 edition of DWTSS! “This is a dream come true”, she says. “The stage is MINE... almost forgot I had to have a partner, but it’s close enough!”
Stacey is a California native who came to Georgia when she was five. She’s lived in Unadilla, Statesboro, Fayetteville, Savannah and of course Waycross. Stacey graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1991 (Go Eagles). She is a 25-year veteran Sales Representative with the Georgia Lottery Corporation- making sure HOPE and PreK funding continues for all of Georgia’s kids! She has been married to her fireman Daryl for 23 years and they claim 3 girls- Calida, Maggie and Team 4 coach and helper Jessica Perritt. Her lovely Mom, Joan Ashley, also lives here in Waycross. Stacey is a member of Sweat Memorial Baptist Church where she sings in the choir and does occasional solo performance. She enjoys camping with her family in their 5th wheel, pretending to be good at crafts, going to the gym, listening to true crime podcasts and mastering new KETO recipes for her “fans!”
And a 5, 6, 7, ate. Wait a second, that isn’t right. While dancing may not be my strong suit, I’m very glad to be doing it for a great cause! My name is Matt West and I’ve lived in Waycross all my life. I enjoy long walks on the Satilla and paddling through a frog choir in the Okefenokee. Although I may be swampwise, you can often find me traveling to far off places of mystery and danger - ie Broadway. I work with my father, Raymond West, at Waycross Lawnmower Center. He’s the one who’s taught me the art of the pun...so blame him. When I’m not selling lawnmowers and chainsaws I’m selling vacations/travel and concierge level service with Fairy Tale Concierge to destinations worldwide.
