Amelia Teston was born in Homerville, GA and moved to Blackshear at 4 years old. She grew up in Blackshear and graduated from Pierce County High School in 1989. She earned a BS degree in Family & Consumer Sciences (emphasis on Interior Design & Housing) from Georgia Southern University in 1994. In 1998, Amelia passed & received her Georgia Real Estate License and began her career in Real Estate with Gateway Realty Services Inc. In 2004, Amelia became a Broker and purchased Gateway Realty from her mother, Alta Bruce and has just celebrated her 21st year in Real Estate. She has enjoyed working with buyers, sellers & investors over the years & even has invested in rental property of her own. Amelia is married to Les Teston and they have 2 children, Jack (20) and Emma (15). They attend Central Baptist Church in Waycross. In her spare time, Amelia enjoys staying fit at the YMCA with workouts and also running. Amelia is excited to join forces with The Magnolia House and Satilla Hospice this year and hopes that she can support her community in a more impactful way through this great event.
Todd Veal was born and raised in Ware County. He graduated from Ware County High School in 1980. In 1983, Todd began work in the Manufactured Housing Industry and in 1987 opened Jones & Veal Mobile Homes where he is presently the sole owner. Todd is married to Kelly Colvin Veal also a graduate of Ware County High (1987) and they have 2 sons Dillon (24) and Rhett (22). In 1995, the Veal family moved to Pierce County where both his sons were actively involved in student athletics at Pierce County High School. In addition to supporting his son’s athletic tenure, Todd also has a passion for the outdoors. Whether it’s hunting, fishing or any other outdoor sport, he and his family love being outdoors 12 months out of the year. The Veal’s attend Emmanuel Baptist Church in Blackshear and when asked why he wanted to participate this year. He responded with “I have a passion to help others especially those in need and for the elderly.”
