Misty Burchett is a Millwood-raised, graduate of Ware County High School, Class of 2000. Misty has over 17 years of dance experience. She attended Georgia Southern University and cheered on both the all-girl and the co-ed squads during her time at GSU. This is where she met the love of her life, James Burchett. They have been married for 15 years and have two precious boys, Brodie, 12 and Beau Jameson, 3. They are members of Indian Mound Baptist Church. Misty has her Education Specialist degree in School Counseling and has been a school counselor at Waresboro Elementary for the past 6 years. Before working at Waresboro she served as a License Professional Counselor for 13 years at Unison Behavioral Health.   Misty loves to dance and is honored to be a part of such a fun and charitable event for an amazing cause. 

James Burchett is a family oriented Christian Conservative that represents District 176 in the Georgia State House of Representatives. He is a partner at Burchett & Kemp LLP, a law firm in Waycross, GA. James is also co-owner of The Burchett Company and is a member of the Waycross Bar Association, and Waycross Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of Leadership Waycross. James is a member of Indian Mound Baptist Church. He is married to Misty Thrift Burchett; they have two son’s Brodie and Beau. James enjoys coaching his son’s baseball team, watching his son's football games, working on the farm and hunting. James received a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law.
