Kristen Steedley is a native of Charlton County and a 2008 graduate of Charlton County High School. She is the daughter of Layton and Debra Mizell and has one sister, Melissa. Kristen has been married to Jay Steedley since 2015. They have two sons, Landry (6) and Sawyer (2) who keep her quite busy. She also has two special cats, Kaptain and Thumper. Kristen graduated from ABAC in 2010 with an A.S. in Criminal Justice and she graduated from Valdosta State University with a B.A. in Criminal Justice in 2012. Kristen has been employed with the Department of Family and Children Services since 2013 and currently serves as the Supervisor of Child Protective Services for Charlton and Brantley County. Kristen is passionate about helping families reunite by assisting them with the necessary tools to be successful. Kristen has served on the board of the Okefenokee Chamber of Commerce in Folkston, Georgia from 2013-2016. She attends Camp Pickney Baptist Church. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors.
Brian Chapman is a resident of Waycross/Ware County. He is a 2007 graduate of WCHS, and later attended Georgia Southwestern State University, where he majored in accounting. Brian is the Community Manager at Georgia’s Own Credit Union, formerly United 1st Credit Union, in Waycross. He is married to his smoking hot wife, Briana, of 13 years and together they have 2 daughters, Landree and Charlee. In his spare time, Brian enjoys playing golf, camping, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
