Heather Gonzales is a Christian, and grateful that God answers prayers. Heather believes her greatest achievement is being able to testify to what God has done for her. Heather tell us, her children and family make her the happiest, and she loves traveling with them. Heather's husband is her hero, and she states she is truly blessed by him. Heather was raised in the South, and in true southern fashion loves meeting people! Heather's love of people directed her path to a Degree in Marketing. She has worked in various forms of marketing over the last 13 years. As a Volunteer Coordinator with GHC Hospice, she combines her love of people with her heart for helping others by making an impact on families in a time of need. Heather feels truly grateful for the opportunity to help families and blessed by each of their stories. Heather told us, "telling stories from our families about the excellent services they have been provided or how their lives have been changed makes me passionate about the job I do."

Chris Gonzales is Pierce County Native. He is married to Heather, and they have three children, Gracelyn, Gannon, and Oaklie. He and his family are active members of Zion Hill Church.  As the Assistant Chief for the Georgia Department of Community Supervision, he helps protect our community. He is also part of an Immediate Response Team for the State of Georgia. Chris has been a well-known first responder as Chief of the Hacklebarney Volunteer Fire department for more than 21 years.  He is a current member of the Waycross Exchange Club. In his free time Chris enjoys fishing, kayaking, and traveling.
