ABOUT OUR EMCEES
Lori Gant McNease was born and raised in Waycross, Georgia. Lori is a 1990 Ware County High School graduate and earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Shorter College in 1994. Lori earned a Masters and Education Specialist degree from Georgia Southern University in Counselor Education in 1996 and 2004. She has been a high school counselor at Brantley County High School for the past 23 years. Lori is married to Travis McNease of Waycross and is the mother of Taylor,23 and Austin,14, step-mother to Cassandra, 25, and GRANDMOTHER to a precious grandson Braelyn. Lori says, "WOW! Haven’t we had fun for the past five years! I am thrilled to bring Hospice Satilla onboard for our 6th annual DWTSS night of fun and laughs with the amazing people of Waycross, GA!"
Clay is a native of Waycross. He is married to Brooke, a teacher at Memorial Drive Elementary School. Clay and Brooke have two kids, Banner and Neeley, they will both be students at Ware County High School in the fall. Clay is a co-owner of Crossway Realty and co-owner of Riverbend Renovations. In 1996, he was the Algernon Sydney Sullivan graduate of Mercer University. He has actively served the community as President of the Waycross Jaycees, member of the Rotary Club, YMCA board, and James Dye Foundation. Clay was also a Waycross City Commissioner. He currently is a board member of the Okefenokee Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Clay was a "dancer" in the inaugural year of Dancing with the Southern Stars and feels much more comfortable as an emcee than a dancer.
